UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL

At The Deans List, we believe in the power of potential and in empowering those who truly live, breathe, and excel in their sport, passion, or craft.

For a few years now, TDL has been focused on empowering filmmaking, serving as a platform for independent ski and snowboard films that lacked resources and budget for premieres, online releases, and more.

The next chapter for TDL is empowering the next generation of grassroots athletes, providing financial support and mentorship to young snow athletes that are just beginning their journeys in the ski/snowboard world.

This grassroots athlete support grant was created by Lucas Foster, TDL chairman, in collaboration with Professional Freeskier Aliah Eichinger, Benni Harrington, and several other skiers and snowboarders, and in collaboration with USASA.

Every elite ski and snowboard career begins at the ground level, fueled first by passion. The Bloom Grant will provide financial support, a mentorship program, and essential resources to help young athletes not only begin their journey but thrive early on.

Our mission is simple: to help you eliminate obstacles and bloom into your journey as a skier or snowboarder.

FOR WHO?

This grant is designed for grassroots ski and snowboard athletes who demonstrate:

Dedication to their sport and ski/snowboard culture

Resilience in the face of financial or structural barriers

Vision for their journey or career in skiing/snowboarding

Have unique circumstances hindering their ability to pursue their action sports dreams

WINNERS WILL RECEIVE

TDL advisory board will select 2 young athletes (1 skier, 1 snowboarder) to receive the following:

$2,000-3,000 travel stipend to support competition, training, filming and development needs.

FREE USASA membership for the 2026 winter season and waived entry fees in your region, AND waived entry fees for USASA Nationals.

Exclusive access to The Dean's List advisory and mentorship board, offering personalized guidance from industry pros, athletes, and filmmakers

PLUS more donations and experiences from more partners to be announced soon!

As skiing and snowboard transcend to new levels competitively, culturally and monetarily, so do the expose.

The Bloom Grant was inspired by watching a lot of unfulfilled young talent come and go in ski towns, often discouraged by the grueling costs of just getting started at the grassroots level. From our experience, once a dedicated athlete gets their shot or “moment”, their spark is lit and the creative fuels on how to overcome financial hurdles can be fueled, but the leap of faith is the hardest part.
